Ammon Benz 3X
Introduction: One of the remedies for albuminuria, especially in the gouty. Gout, with deposits
in joints. Urinary incontinence in the aged.
Synonym: Benzoate of ammonia.
Source: Chemical formula, NH4C7H5O2
Preparation: The pure Benzoate of ammonia is triturated with sugar of milk.

Guiding symptoms/Indications:
1. The appearance is particularly characteristic; the eyelids are swollen and the face is
bloated.
2. The chief symptoms of this salt (which has been proved) are : Head heavy, stupid.
3. Right kidney sensitive to pressure.
4. Gout with fluid in great toe-joint or with lithates.
5. The right side is most affected.
6. The urine which is smoky and scanty is full of albumen.
7. Its other indications are pain across sacrum with urgency to stool, sensation of internal
soreness on pressure in the region of right kidney and gout with fluid in large toe joints.
Particulars:
Head: Heavy, stupid.
Face: Bloated, swollen eyelids. Swelling under tongue like ranula.
Urine: Smoky, scanty. Albuminous and thick deposits.
Back: Pain across sacrum, with urgency to stool. Soreness in region of right kidney.
