Ars Cal 3X (Calcarea Ars 3x)
Introduction: This is prepared by mixing Calcarea and Arsenic, so in Calcarea arsenicum we
get few symptoms of calcarea such as chilliness, fattyness, ailments during climacteric period,
mental depression, weak heart, palpitation on ascending etc. and few symptoms of arsenic such
as, chilliness great weakness, anxiety, etc.

Constitution:
1. Appearance : The patient is fair, fatty and flabby and look like a Calcarea patient.
2. Miasm : Psora is in the background.
Guiding symptoms/Indications:
1. This remedy is indicated in lymphatic, scrofulous and tuberculous people, and fat women
who are approaching the climacteric.
2. All their symptoms are worse during cold weather and while out of doors.
3. The heart action is feeble, there is dyspnoea and chilliness, and an annoying palpitation of
the heart on the least exertion.
4. It should be studied in nephritis with frequent micturition, burning and scanty urine that
contains albumen.
5. There is extreme sensitiveness over the region of the kidneys associated with dyspnoea
and feeble heart’s action.
6. It has been employed in the enlarged livers and spleens of children who have taken much
quinine, also gastric ulcers, and has relieved some of the pain that attends cancer of the
pancreas.
7. It is said to have relieved epilepsy when the attack was preceded with a rush of blood to
the head.

Mind
– Anger, anxiety.
– Desire for company.

Head
– Violent rush of blood to head with vertigo.
– Pain in head better by lying on painful side.
– Weekly headache.
– benumbing headache mostly around ears.
Stomach
– Region of stomach distended.
– Enlarged liver and spleen in children.
– Pancreatic disease; relieves burning pain in cancer of pancreas.
– Belching with saliva and beating of heart.
Urinary
– Kidney region sensitive to pressure.
– Albuminuria, passes urine every hour.
Heart
– Constriction and pain in region of heart, suffocating feeling, palpitation, oppression and
throbbing and pain in back extending to arms.
Female
– Offensive, bloody leucorrhoea.
– Cancer of uterus; burning pain in uterus and vagina.
Back
– Pain and stiffness near nape of neck.
– Violent backache, throbbing, drives out of bed.
Extremities
– Removes inflammatory products in veins of lower extremities.
– Weariness and lameness of lower limbs.
Dose and administration: 1 tab 3 to 4 times daily for adult. ½ tab for 3 to 4 times daily
children.
Side effects: No significant side effect has been observed in proper dosage
Contraindication: There is no known contraindication.
Presentations: 50 tabs (20 gm in PET bottle), 450gm powder in container.
