Gun Powder 3X
Introduction: This is a septicemia remedy of especial use in osteomyelitis or septic wounds,
where its actions can be dramatic.
Preparation: Trituration.
Guiding symptoms/Indications:
Cures obstinate Psoriasis. It is antipsoric, anti-syphilitic and anti-sycotic. Resistance to treatment
and extensive lesions are the main indications.
The indications for the remedy are broad and clear, so that no fine differentiating of symptoms is
required.
– The list of diseases named under “Clinical” will be a sufficient guide, coupled with the broad
indication “Blood-poisoning.”
– Gunp. corresponds to suppuration in a great number of forms, many of them septic.
– I have not found it disagree with any other remedy, so that there need be no fear of alternating
it with some other remedy if particularly indicated.
– Canon Upcher has recently published cases of skin eruption mistaken for scabies by medical
men, but actually produced by handling ivy, and quickly cured with Gunp. 3x.
Dose and administration: 1 tab 3 to 4 times daily for adult. ½ tab for 3 to 4 times daily
children.
Side effects: No significant side effect has been observed in proper dosage
Contraindication: There is no known contraindication.
Relationship:
– Canon Upcher finds that occasional doses of Hepar highly increase its effects.
– Calendula externally is also complementary.
– Thuja, Silica, Baryta carb. (septic tonsils) agree very well.
Presentations: 50 tabs (20 gm in PET bottle), 450gm powder in container.
